Job Description

AMOL WALIA AND GAGANDEEP KAUR SIDHU are seeking a reliable, caring, and responsible Home Child Care Provider (NOC 44100) to provide quality care for children in a private household in Nanaimo, British Columbia. The successful candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment while supporting the children's daily routines and development.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
• Supervise and care for infants and children.
• Bathe, dress, and feed children.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to childcare.
• Organize educational and recreational activities, including games and outings.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Keep records of children's daily activities and health information.
• Take children to and from school, appointments, and activities.
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children.
• Help children with homework.
• Travel with the family when required and assist with child supervision.

Job Requirements

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

• Experience is an asset.

Language

• English.
